Patient Community
In this project I developed the strategy, concept and information architecture for a patient community for one of the largest patient organizations in Denmark

The most important part of the strategic planning of this project was the interviews and workshops with users.
As always – when working with online communities – the users had very specific needs, demands and limitations, which further accentuated the need for tailor made services.
The two most important findings were:
1. Newly arrived patients have a great need to be matched with patients with a) the same diagnosis and b) same circumstances in life.
2. Any kind of rating and evaluation (which is standard on most communities) were no-go on this community, because the patients do not come here to find specific knowledge, but to find consolation, comfort and support.
