Lesson 2: Which formats work best?

Step 2: Complete the following exercise (use no more than 45 minutes)

Imagine that you are going to create a communication or advertising campaign. It could be a product launch, it could be general branding of your company, or you may want to raise awareness of a specific issue.

Use the model from the video (you can also see a version here) to think about:

  1. What you want to achieve

  2. Your resources

  3. Your subject area

  4. Your target group(s)

  5. Your possible platforms

 

Decide on a format for your communication campaign and describe what you want to do with this format and how it will help you achieve your goals. (For example: If you choose a blog/podcast/Facebook post/Youtube video as your content format, you should explain why this makes sense and how you will achieve your goals with this format)

Do not spend more than 45 minutes doing this and your final submission should be no more than a single page.

Step 3: Send the assignment in an email

Send us and email containing your description in Word, PowerPoint or other commonly used format. 

Send the assignment to petersvarre@gmail.com and make sure to include the tag "#goodcontent" in the subject line.
